Through their music, MARICXS’s poems become a tapestry of emotions, woven together with threads of healing intention and calming vibrations. Drawing inspiration from the ancient practice of call and response, they use repetitive words and sounds to amplify the urgency for transformation—mantras that guide the way toward inner peace.

Later this year, they will release their debut extended play, Where They Long to Be with Them.
A deeply personal and authentic journey through existence, resistance, and resilience. Through musical poetry, they float in an endless cycle of falling, uncovering, and transformation. Exhaling the past, the euphoric energy of their gender identity, honoring their indigenous heritage , the rooted soil, and their ancestors. A reflection of belonging and healing synergy.
Each woven with mantras of spiritual, indie folk and ambient soundscapes.

Haitus Dreams, In A Free Fall, Weightless, Underwater

“Hiatus Dreams, In A Free Fall, Weightless, Underwater” is a haunting exploration of suspension, vulnerability, and the interplay between the conscious and subconscious. Through its evocative imagery and minimalist form, it captures the essence of a dreamscape where nothing is fixed and everything is fluid. The poem’s strength lies in its ambiguity, its ability to evoke emotions and sensations without pinning them down to a single interpretation. Ultimately, it reminds us of the beauty and complexity of existing in the in-between, in the hiatus where dreams and realities intersect.
